14 For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
15 but just as he who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior; 16 because it is written, "You shall be holy; for I am holy."
17 For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous shall live by faith."
14 For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm to the end:
4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love;
… 7 in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, 8 which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,
13 For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don't use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.
16 as free, and not using your freedom for a cloak of wickedness, but as bondservants of God.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
19 As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.
10 For they indeed, for a few days, punished us as seemed good to them; but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness. 11 All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised thereby.
26 or else he must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once at the end of the ages, he has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27 Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment, 28 so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, without sin, to those who are eagerly waiting for him for salvation.
