20 The law came in besides, that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace did abound more exceedingly; 21 that as sin reigned in death, even so might grace reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
15 Yahweh God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 Yahweh God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat: 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat of it you will surely die."
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
1 Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;
30 As he spoke these things, many believed in him. 31 Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. 32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
36 If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. 37 I know that you are Abraham's seed, yet you seek to kill me, because my word finds no place in you. 38 I say the things which I have seen with my Father; and you also do the things which you have seen with your father.”
