Romans 3:19-24

19 Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.  20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.  21 But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets;  22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction,  23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;  24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;

1 John 3:7-10

7 Little children, let no one lead you astray. He who does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.  8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  9 Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.  10 In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever doesn't do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who doesn't love his brother.

Romans 6:1-11

1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?  2 May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?  3 Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?  4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.  5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;  6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.  7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.  8 But if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him;  9 knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him!  10 For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God.  11 Thus also consider yourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Galatians 2:20-21

20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.  21 I don't make void the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!"

2 Corinthians 5:17

17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
