Matthew 5:14-16

14 You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden.  15 Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.  16 Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

James 2:14-17

14 What good is it, my brothers, if a man says he has faith, but has no works? Can faith save him?  15 And if a brother or sister is naked and in lack of daily food,  16 and one of you tells them, "Go in peace, be warmed and filled;" and yet you didn't give them the things the body needs, what good is it?  17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.

Romans 12:9-13

9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.  10 In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate one to another; in honor preferring one another;  11 not lagging in diligence; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;  12 rejoicing in hope; enduring in troubles; continuing steadfastly in prayer;  13 contributing to the needs of the saints; given to hospitality.

Hebrews 10:24-25

24 Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works,  25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching.

Luke 5:27-32

27 After these things he went out, and saw a tax collector named Levi sitting at the tax office, and said to him, “Follow me!”

28 He left everything, and rose up and followed him.  29 Levi made a great feast for him in his house. There was a great crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining with them.  30 Their scribes and the Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, "Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?"  31 Jesus answered them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.  32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
