Luke 23:36-43

36 The soldiers also mocked him, coming to him and offering him vinegar,  37 and saying, "If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!"

38 An inscription was also written over him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: "THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS."

39 One of the criminals who was hanged insulted him, saying, "If you are the Christ, save yourself and us!"

40 But the other answered, and rebuking him said, "Don't you even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?  41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward for our deeds, but this man has done nothing wrong."  42 He said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom."

43 Jesus said to him, “Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

Mark 9:21-27

21 He asked his father, “How long has it been since this has come to him?”  He said, "From childhood.  22 Often it has cast him both into the fire and into the water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us."

23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

24 Immediately the father of the child cried out with tears, "I believe. Help my unbelief!"

25 When Jesus saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!”

26 Having cried out, and convulsed greatly, it came out of him. The boy became like one dead; so much that most of them said, "He is dead."  27 But Jesus took him by the hand, and raised him up; and he arose.

Luke 17:6

6 The Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this sycamore tree, 'Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.

Genesis 3:23-24

23 Therefore Yahweh God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.  24 So he drove out the man; and he placed Cherubs at the east of the garden of Eden, and the flame of a sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

John 15:13-17

13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.  14 You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you.  15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant doesn't know what his lord does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I heard from my Father, I have made known to you.  16 You didn't choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

17 “I command these things to you, that you may love one another.
