Acts 15:35-41

35 But Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.

36 After some days Paul said to Barnabas, "Let's return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing."  37 Barnabas planned to take John, who was called Mark, with them also.  38 But Paul didn't think that it was a good idea to take with them someone who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia, and didn't go with them to do the work.  39 Then the contention grew so sharp that they separated from each other. Barnabas took Mark with him, and sailed away to Cyprus,  40 but Paul chose Silas, and went out, being commended by the brothers to the grace of God.  41 He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the assemblies.

Galatians 2:1-5

1 Then after a period of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with me.  2 I went up by revelation, and I laid before them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately before those who were respected, for fear that I might be running, or had run, in vain.  3 But not even Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.  4 This was because of the false brothers secretly brought in, who stole in to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage;  5 to whom we gave no place in the way of subjection, not for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

Acts 15:1-2,5

1 Some men came down from Judea and taught the brothers, "Unless you are circumcised after the custom of Moses, you can't be saved."  2 Therefore when Paul and Barnabas had no small discord and discussion with them, they appointed Paul and Barnabas, and some others of them, to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.

5 But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, "It is necessary to circumcise them, and to charge them to keep the law of Moses."

Philippians 2:4

4 each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.
